Serious Case Review of Child G also known as "Tammy Nixon"
The Serious Case Review, published today was carried out after the death of Child G, also known as "Tammy Nixon", a 17-year-old girl. This is the first time the Local Safeguarding Children Board Northamptonshire (LSCBN) has published not just an executive summary but also the complete overview report for the review.
Child G is LSCBN's formal code for the case, but in the report the young person is known as Tammy. The use of names rather than codes helps to ensure that Tammy is considered as a person with real feelings and experiences, rather than a "case".
